> A big thanks goes out to the community and our friends from various area Fire/EMS agencies that helped to make
this year's Fall Breakfast a big success. We sold around 450 tickets, and everybody had a good time as always.
Thank you.

> Drill held this morning with Centerton Fire Company (Salem County). Engine 3302 drafted from Palatine Lake,
pumped to engine 3301, which supplied Ladder 23-6. The drill was to further train our members how to draft, operate
the trucks' different pumps, and to learn a bit more about operating a 100 foot ladder, as ours' is due within a years
time. We all learned a lot. It was great to work with the boys from Centerton, and we hope to do it again soon.

> Busy weekend. Friday night (09-01-06) brought our Spanish friend Ernesto to town with wind gusts over 40mph and
lots of cold, stinging rain and plunged thousands in the area into darkness. Station 33 answered four calls throughout
the night related to the storm. Firefighters also responded to an MVA Saturday morning at an intersection still without
power. And last, but not least, Saturday night led us to the City of Bridgeton to assist with a second alarm / box
assignment on a large Victorian dwelling. We're proud to have been able to assist, although
Seven House had things
well under control. Check the "Recent Calls" for more.
09-01-06 Friday
> Not a lot. August was a slow month for Station 33. Call stats will be up shortly. We are currently working on several
projects to expand our capabilities to serve our population. As things begin to happen, more will be posted...
08-18-06 Friday
> The "Recent Calls" section is now operational and will be updated with basic information about most calls we have.
Also, visit the new "Fire Prevention" link. It will be greatly expanding in the near future to provide as much information
as possible.

> CPR/AED training held at Station 33. Chief Judy Zirkle of Upper Deerfield Emergency Medical Services taught an
American Heart Association refresher course on CPR and Defibrillation to the station's membership as well as a few
civilians. We consider this evening's training a resounding success and a testament to our commitment to serving our
community.
